Scandinavian Data Centre
of the
Cluster Science Data System
The Scandinavian Data Centre (SDC) is located at the Alfvén
Laboratory at the Royal Institute of Technology,
Stockholm, Sweden. It is one of the National Data Centres of the Cluster
Science Data System (CSDS), a distributed system designed to supply
the scientific community with overview data from the Cluster
mission. The participating Data Centres are:
- ACDC, the Austrian Cluster
Data Centre, Graz (CDMS)
- CCDRC, the Chinese Cluster Data Centre, Beijing
- CFC, le Centre Français
Cluster, Toulouse (CDMS)
- ESTECDC, the ESTEC Data Centre, Noordwijk
(CDMS)
- GCDC, the German Cluster Data
Centre, Garching (CDMS)
- HDC, the Hungarian Data
Centre, Budapest (CDMS)
- SDC, the Scandinavian
Data Centre, Stockholm (CDMS)
- UKCDC, the
United Kingdom Cluster Data Centre, Chilton
(CDMS)
- USCSDC, the United States
Cluster Science Data Center, Greenbelt
(CDAWeb)
An overview of CSDS
may be found in the CSDS
Users Guide, and other
CSDS documents. The data products of the CSDS are the PPDB (Prime Parameter
Data Base), the SPDB (Summary Parameter Data Base) and the SP (Summary
Plots). SDC is responsible for supplying the CSDS data products to the
Scandinavian scientific community via the CDMS (Cluster Data Management
System) web interface. Latest
results from Cluster are accessible from the Cluster
Quicklook page.
In order to access Cluster PPDB or SPDB data you will need a CDMS
account. Cluster co-investigators have access to the PPDB (spin-averaged
data from all 4 s/c), other users have access to the SPDB (1-minute-averaged
data from one s/c). To obtain an account, please send an e-mail to sdc-adm@plasma.kth.se.
